I’ve been using the FootJoy Traditions for the past three years, meaning this FootJoy Traditions review will cover the use of these golf shoes over an extended period of time. After all, you can’t truly gauge how a pair of shoes will hold up until you’ve put them through the paces over the years. Check out the image below for a glimpse, and I’ll share my experience on my long-term experience with these shoes.

Comfort From First Use
Unlike many golfers who often endure blisters and foot pain during the initial rounds as they break in their shoes, I’ve never faced this issue with the FootJoy Traditions. These shoes provide comfort right out of the box, and their material and structure maintain their comfort over time. These shoes offer the combination of comfort along with a professional look.
Looks Professional
These shoes offer a clean and professional appearance. Personally, I’m a fan of the white model, because they look great when paired with black trousers. Obviously the appearance of the shoes you wear is down to personal preference and some may not like white shoes. Luckily these shoes come in various styles that will pretty much cater for all preferences.
Cheap for FootJoy
FootJoy are known to be the premium golf brand when it comes to footwear. But with an excellent and long lasting reputation, comes premium prices. The FootJoy Traditions come at a reasonable price point, available on Amazon for around £110, depending on the model. Although this may still seem pricey for a pair of shoes, it’s worth noting that many high-end golf shoes nowadays can be around the £200 range. Despite the more budget-friendly cost of the FootJoy Traditions, the quality is surprisingly comparable, making them a cost-effective choice without having to compromise on quality.
Stays Waterproof
Nothing worse than wet feet. Especially on the golf course. Luckily I have never experienced any problems with the waterproofing of these golf shoes after any period of time. Obviously the shoes being waterproof is an expected feature, but it’s surprising how many different pairs of shoes I’ve tried which quickly lose their ability to keep water out. This is certainly not the case here with the FootJoy Traditions.

Spikes Worn After Time
Regardless of the golf shoes you pick, the spikes will wear after time, but it is true with these shoes that after around 1 year of use, I’ve had a couple rounds where I feel as though I am slipping everywhere. This is evident from the picture below, as you can see the damage to the worn spikes, compared to the new pair. Luckily, it’s possible to change the spikes on golf shoes for around £10 – £15, so this problem is not that big of an issue.

FootJoy Traditions Features
