✅ Great Soft Feel
The preference of most golfers is a softer feel off the club face, particularly when it comes to wedges and iron shots. This is certainly the feeling that the Soft Feel offers. Considering the price of the golf ball, I felt that the feel it offers is similar to that of a premium soft golf ball.
Looking back over the last decade, there has been a surge in the availability of budget-friendly golf balls that offer a softer feel. Examples include well-known options like the Titleist Tru Feel and Callaway Supersoft. I would place the Srixon Soft Feel in this same category of ‘cheaper’ golf balls that still offer a premium feeling.

Despite the different budget friendly golf balls which offer this soft feeling, it’s rare to find cheap golf balls which generate lots of short game spin. Despite this, I was surprised with the amount of spin I was seeing with chips and pitches during my assessment of the Srixon Soft Feel.
Admittedly, the spin generated by the Soft Feel doesn’t quite match more premium counterparts such as the TaylorMade TP5 or Titleist Pro V1. Nevertheless, considering it’s price, the ball showed commendable spin control.

The Soft feel is said to be a high launching golf ball by Srixon, other golfers who have tried this ball have given similar comments regarding this high ball flight off the tee, which is certainly a positive attribute for the majority of golfers. Obviously if you are somebody who requires a lower more penetrating flight, then alternative options like the Titleist AVX (which is designed to produce a lower flight) might be a more viable option.

Drawing from personal experience, I swing my driver at around 112 mph, and I did observe a slight decrease in distance—around 4 or 5 yards—when comparing the Soft Feel to some other golf balls of similar value. This was mainly because the Soft Feel wasn’t quite penetrating enough with driver for me.

I wouldn’t recommend this ball to golfers with very high club head speeds of over 105-110 mph (approximately a 260-270 yard carry with driver), due to a possible loss in distance and optimal flight with driver.
