Flight

The greatest difference we felt during our testing involved the flight patterns of these two balls. The Pro V1 exhibited a lower flight; especially with driver. On the flip side, the TP5 clearly flew with a slightly higher trajectory, catering to players who prefer a higher ball flight, or maybe those who struggle carrying the ball far enough through the air. Personally, I preferred the Pro V1 because I have a tendency to hit the ball too high off the tee, so I need something that will bring the flight down. This is just personal preference and if you are somebody who could do with hitting the ball higher, then the TP5 will likely be better for you.

Distance

The difference in distance between the TaylorMade TP5 and Titleist Pro V1 is minimal and largely dependent on individual ball flight characteristics. In my testing, I found very little differences between both golf balls. However, for those with a naturally higher ball flight, like mine, the Pro V1 may offer slightly better optimisation.
